Our Team

Luke Beltnick is a partner at Castlelake, responsible for investments in Global Special Situations. Mr. Beltnick is also one of the rotating, voting members of the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Mr. Beltnick joined Castlelake in 2006 and became partner in 2014. Mr. Beltnick guides the firm’s dislocated industries strategy and leads a team of investment professionals based in the U.S. He also plays an integral role in sourcing, relationship management and deal execution. Mr. Beltnick’s experience in dislocated industries began in 2001 and spans various industries including energy, power and transportation. Mr. Beltnick has served on the creditor and lender work-out committees for numerous organizations and held multiple board positions through Castlelake’s various restructuring activities.
Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Beltnick was an associate at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he advised companies and creditors on financial restructuring and merger and acquisitions transactions. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Beltnick was an associate at MventPtd Ltd., a mobile payment start-up based in Singapore. Mr. Beltnick received his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan in finance, with high distinction.
