Aadit Prasad

Mr. Prasad joined Castlelake in 2020 and leads European Specialty Finance investment activities. In this role, he focuses on guiding the investment team and originating and executing Castlelake’s investment strategy in consumer and commercial credit opportunities, including small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) finance and asset leasing opportunities across Europe.

During his tenure, Mr. Prasad has helped lead the continued development of Castlelake’s European consumer, SME and leasing investment strategies, including by expanding the firm’s reach to difficult-to-access European jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Prasad was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Special Situations group and Securitized Products group in London, where he was focused on principal investments and trading opportunities in public and private asset-backed and distressed situations. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Prasad was part of the European Structured Finance team at Deutsche Bank Group, where he was focused on structuring securitizations and principal transactions in loan portfolios.

Mr. Prasad received a B.E. in information technology from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi.
