Betsy Sylvester
Managing Director, Head of Client Management
Ms. Sylvester joined Castlelake in 2019 and is Head of Client Management. In this role, Ms. Sylvester leads the firm’s global client management strategy and activities, including responsibility for fund and strategic partnership formation, investor relations and investor communications. Prior to joining Castlelake, Ms. Sylvester was a Vice President with Envoi, LLC’s Client Advisory team, where she focused on client relationship management and portfolio construction. Prior to Envoi, Ms. Sylvester was a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs, where she was responsible for soliciting new business opportunities and managing client investment portfolios. Ms. Sylvester began her career in the nonprofit sector. Ms. Sylvester received her B.A. in sociology/anthropology, magna cum laude from Carleton College and an M.B.A. in finance and economics from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business. Ms. Sylvester is conversational in Spanish.
