Eduardo D’Alessandro

Mr. D’Alessandro joined Castlelake in 2011 and is Partner, European Commercial Real Estate. In this role, he focuses on guiding the investment team and originating investment opportunities in transitional real estate and infrastructure including whole-loan and portfolio financings, construction and light/heavy bridge loans, commercial mortgage financings and other real estate-backed credit investments.

Mr. D’Alessandro became a partner of the firm in 2018 and is a member of Castlelake’s Executive Committee and Investment Review Committee. During his tenure at Castlelake, he has led the development of the firm’s UK and European Real Assets investment strategy and has overseen investment activities across Europe.  

Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. D’Alessandro was an investment consultant in Deutsche Bank’s special situations group, where he focused on non-performing loan investments across Europe. Earlier in his career, he was an investment associate at CVI within the Loan Portfolio Group, working on non-performing loan and real estate investments in the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain. Mr. D’Alessandro received his M.B.A. from London Business School and his B.Sc. in finance from Manhattanville College, cum laude.
