Hadi Makkawi
Director, Capital Markets
Mr. Makkawi joined Castlelake in 2022 as part of the Capital Markets team in Europe. He is primarily focused on sourcing, structuring, and executing debt capital across Castlelake’s investment strategies in the region. Prior to joining Castlelake, he held various positions across Deutsche Bank’s Structured Finance platform in Credit Structuring and ABS over an 11-year period. Most recently, he was a Director with Deutsche Bank’s Transportation ABS team, where he focused on originating debt and equity capital for asset-backed securitizations and private platforms. Mr. Makkawi received his B.S in finance and accounting from Boston University. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
