Julian Rees

Mr. Rees joined Castlelake in 2014 and is part of the Aviation Asset Management team. He is primarily focused on aircraft returns, deliveries and day-to-day oversight of the Castlelake fleet. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Rees was with ILFC, managing the engine aspects of their EMEA aircraft fleet. Prior to joining ILFC, Mr. Rees held various roles at TES Aviation Group and Macquarie AirFinance asset management team. Mr. Rees began his career as an engineer with Rolls-Royce plc and later a Risk Manager for TotalCare. Mr. Rees received his M.S. and B.S. from Imperial College in engineering. He is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Traders (ISTAT) and the Royal Aeronautical Society.
