Elizabeth Turner

Ms. Turner joined Castlelake in 2019 as part of its Legal & Compliance team. Ms. Turner supports Castlelake’s legal activities, particularly focusing on its investment activity in Global Special Situations, European Assets and Global Specialty Finance. Ms. Turner has experience in a broad range of financial products, including leveraged finance, restructurings, real estate finance and special situations. Prior to joining Castlelake, Ms. Turner worked at Morrison & Foerster in its financial transactions group. Prior to that, Ms. Turner worked with Allen & Overy and focused on leveraged acquisition finance acting for international investment banks and sponsors. Previously, Ms. Turner worked with Clifford Chance as a leveraged acquisition finance associate and was as an in-house counsel secondee to the leveraged finance team of Goldman Sachs. Ms. Turner received her LLB with French Legal studies from the University of Glasgow with first class honors. Ms. Turner received her Legal Practice Course with distinction from the University of Law, London. Ms. Turner was awarded Highly Commended Woman Lawyer of the Year 2017 by the Law Society of England & Wales. Ms. Turner is conversational in French.
